The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)
is the professional home for today’s managers in construction. It has
almost 40,000 members, skilled managers and professionals drawn from the

The CIOB is an educational charity,
governed by a Royal Charter, which provides a multi-disciplinary technical

of Environment, Transport and the Regions and is the UK's largest register of qualified construction contractors and
consultants. It is designed to streamline procurement procedures and increase
quality in construction services, thereby saving clients and those who work in

Constructionline serves over
700 clients. These range from the largest central Government
construction clients (Ministry of Defence, Scottish Office, Highways
